96 years ago the world paused, as the Crazy Ray from the film ‘Paris Qui Dort’, froze anything under the height of 210m, only people and objects above the height stayed in motion with the exception of the scientist’s niece who was placed in a room that was shielded from the ray.
The film feels like an early Twilight zone episode with little focus on the technology and more on the effects of the device on the people. The device itself was a wheel with two almost touching staffs, a lever causes the devise to activate, which produces a wave that spreads over the planet. To reanimate the world the lever needs pulled back to it’s original position.
