Something - Fun
Science FICTION Reviews
36 years ago we discovered how difficult it is to create a dome shield over Los Angeles in V’s ‘The Dissident’. The issue was one of programming and not one of power, initial attempts resulted in the force field shutting down due to the binary code being unable to sustain itself. What was required was a relay system internal to the shield to communicate with the main ship, to balance the power. Only Jacob previously the head Institute of Science (for the V) and a decorated hero of the state understood the specific of the programming required to enable the force field to function.
Included in the shield was a section that could be turned on and off, creating a tunnel that was controlled from within by Nathen Bates.
